Bob is a good friend of mine and kindly allowed me to use his likeness for my first fighter pilot figure. He also lent us his signature which is embedded in every pilot figure! With access to his memorabilia, I was able to create a pilot figure in unparalleled detail and accuracy.

Best Pilots started when I needed scale pilots for my Ziroli B-25 Mitchell Bomber. Since I couldn't find realistic pilots that size, I decided to make my own. After posting construction pics of the B-25 on RC Universe, I discovered that there where quite a few people that needed pilots too!
